1 – Residency Visas for Entrepreneurs and Business Activities (REM):

TIME-LIMIT

The Residence Visa is sufficient to reside in Spain for one (1) year without having to obtain a foreign identity card.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

1.Favorable report from the Commercial Office in the area of geographical demarcation where the investor presents the visa request, to confirm that the business plan presented is considered as a general interest

2.Compliance of at least one of the following condition:

• Creation of job posts.
• Realization of an investment with relevant socioeconomic impact in the geographical area in which the activity will be developed
• Relevant contribution to scientific and / or technological innovation

2- Residency Visas for Acquisition of Real Estate (RIV):

The acquisition of real estate in Spain with an investment value equal to or in excess of EUR 500.000.

TIME-LIMIT

The Residence Visa is sufficient to reside in Spain for one (1) year without having to obtain a foreigner identity card.

REQUIREMENTS. See below**s

3- Student Visa

• Foreigners wishing to conduct research, training (non-salaried basis), or take studies in an educational center (public or private) officially recognized in Spain,
• Less than 6 months: the visa will be sufficient to document the stay.
• More than 6 months: the applicant must apply for Foreigner identity card or NIE within one month from the effective entry into Spain.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• Money Order
• Passport and passport copy
• Two National Visa Application forms (Original and copy). Two recent pictures glued to application
• Copy of Driver License / State ID / Student card
• Acceptance letter issued in Spain
• Proof of health insurance ü Proof of Means of support
• Express Mail envelope (flat rate) from Post Office

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly on Spanish soil (exception RIV)
• Be older than 18 years.
• No criminal record in Spain or countries lived in during the last 5 years for offenses stipulated under Spanish Law.
• Not listed as objectionable in the territorial space of countries with which Spain has signed an agreement in this regard.
• Have a public insurance or private health insurance with a Health Insurance Institution authorized to operate in Spain.
• Have sufficient financial resources for oneself and for family members during the period of residency in Spain (2.130€ monthly for oneself and 532€ for every additional family member).

***FAMILY MEMBERS

The possibility of processing the residence visa is extended to:

1. Spouse
2. Children under 18 years of age, or
3. Over 18 who are not able to provide their own needs due to their state of health, when meet or accompany the applicants.
